Under Armour: All-Star Weekend
Five-day event series in partnership with Under Armour and NBA All Star Players Steph Curry and Dennis Smith Jr.: A ‘Give-Back’ to the community by launching the new basketball courts and halls with musical performances, games, carnival vibes, double-decker bus activations, media events and campaigns that engage and educate young, dynamic athletes and lifestyle enthusiasts.
Role: Lead Senior Producer
Location: Charlotte & Fayetteville, NC Goal: A citywide series of activations around the success of the NBA stars and their efforts to give back to the local community and the future stars of basketball.The series featured a jersey reveal for Jr NBA teams, the launch of the Curry 6 sneaker, a mobile command center double-decker bus with custom-designed LED screen content and the relaunch of two community centers in Charlotte and Fayetteville revealing state-of-the-art courts where it all began for NC native superstars Curry and Smith Jr. The Curry Family Community Center kicked off with a 3 point shooting match between Steph, Seth, Dell, and Sonya Curry and made ESPN’s SportsCenter #1 play of the day when volleyballer mother, Sonya, won the shot against her elite basketball family.Partner agency: Invisible northHandled all production needs of the mobile command center double-decker busWorked with the creative team and vendors on custom-interior buildoutCreated a plan of activating the tour through the cityWorked within the provided budget to meet strategy & creative team & client needsManaged all event related inventory, set up & load outHired staff & manage production assistants and BAsManaged all vendors from decor, furniture, audio, lighting, AV, F&B throughout the week
